Cavo Ventus
Cavo Ventus is a converted villa with a beautiful Caldera View. The venue hosts separate areas for the ceremony, reception dinner, cocktail hour and partying which provides a natural flow. The venue also has a private villa with two bedrooms and an outdoor heated swimming pool. Cavo Ventus is located on a unique point on the Caldera of Akrotiri.

The vehicle transfer pulls off the main road onto a private pebbled driveway parallel to the cliff edge that leads up to the venue entrance. As you step outside the vehicle you are presented by rural surroundings with a view of the Caldera and the gated private property of the wedding venue.
As you step into the venue, you immediately walk into the bar and party area that will take place later in the evening. This is the perfect place to meet and greet guests on arrival. directly in front, you will see a private pool that extends to the cliff edge for a romantic view of the Aegean Sea for a wonderful backdrop. To the right, you will see a tall stone Tower, remnants of an old windmill, which adds Santorini authenticity and history into the theme of the venue. Beyond this tower, you will first see the spacious ceremony area which has a low wall on the cliff edge behind the gazebo presenting the spectacular Caldera view for what defines a beautiful ceremony area.
The ceremony will have beautiful props with meaningful lit words and live entertainment. The ceremony itself, in addition to the Caldera view sitting behind the ceremony will host chairs and gazebo that are beautifully decorated in your choice of artificial or fresh floral arrangements with the help and appointment of a local and talented florist on the island that we will organise on your behalf. The flowers will have arrived and been refrigerated at the florist site only days before the event to ensure freshness and smell from reputable Dutch producers. At the ceremony, you may wish to have a live musician to play your sentimental song choices to add a heightened ambience and discovery of emotion when you as the bride make your spectacular entrance.
Following the touching ceremony, guests will eventually make their way downstairs to a lower floor for the reception passing the private pool along the way which can be used for water-based fireworks. As with many venues with a Caldera view, there can be stairs to overcome but Cavo Ventus is reasonably flat in comparison to other venues. The reception area is outside which will have prepared your table floral decorations and chosen favours with a guest seating plan on entrance. To the forefront you have the spectacular Caldera views and alfresco dining experience.
When the evening frivolities end, the music will gradually come to a close and our wedding co-ordinators will escort the guests to their carriages which will be waiting at the venue entrance.
